Dubrovnik's year splits into two distinct halves. From June through September, highs range between 26°C and 31°C with rain falling on 3 to 8 days per month. From October through May, the city is cooler and considerably wetter. January and November each record 15 rain days, the highest of any month, while December through February sits between 12°C and 14°C. April reaches 17°C but still carries 12 rain days, and May climbs to 22°C with 13. The real shift happens in June, when the average high hits 28°C and rain days drop to 4.
TTDI publishes 12 month guides beneath this index. If you're planning a summer visit, start with July or August. The temperature difference between them is a single degree (31°C versus 30°C) but August records more than double July's rainfall at 7 days versus 3. For shoulder-season timing, the September and October pages show the contrast well. September holds at 26°C with 8 rain days, while October drops to 21°C with 9. Winter visitors should compare November and February, where similar temperatures (17°C and 13°C) come with very different rain counts at 15 days versus 9.
November and January deserve the closest read. Both log 15 rain days, and January's 12°C high is the coldest in the measured year.
July is Dubrovnik's most decisive month, recording the year's highest average high of 31°C and the fewest rain days at 3.
