When's the best time to visit Seville in 2026?

Late March through May is the window. Two weeks after Easter, the Feria de Abril takes over the Los Remedios neighborhood for six days of flamenco, rebujito (sherry mixed with lemon soda), and casetas (private tents). Getting into the public casetas costs nothing. The private ones require an invitation. Book hotels by January for either event. Rates near the Cathedral climb 2-3x during Semana Santa week.

October and November are the contrarian pick. Temperatures hover between 19-25°C, the summer crowds have thinned, and hotel rates drop 30-40% from the spring peak. The light in late October turns the sandstone facade of Plaza de España, built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, a deep amber by 5pm. You can walk through the Reales Alcázares gardens without queuing. In April, that same entrance at the Puerta del León means a 45-minute wait. The trade-off is rain. November averages 70mm of precipitation across 6-7 wet days. It tends to come in short, hard bursts rather than all-day drizzle, so a packable rain jacket handles it. The Bienal de Flamenco runs September through October in even-numbered years at the Teatro de la Maestranza, and 2026 is an even year.

Skip July and August. This is not soft advice. Seville regularly records the highest temperatures in continental Europe during these months.
