The biggest temple crowds follow a Hindu calendar rhythm that repeats weekly. The security queue at the main Shiva temple on its busiest morning can stretch 2-3 hours. If you plan one visit, go on a Wednesday or Thursday instead, when the wait drops to 30-45 minutes. Tuesdays belong to Hanuman, and Sankat Mochan Temple in the Durgakund neighborhood fills with families leaving offerings of laddoos.
