When's the best time to visit Athens in 2026?

Athens in late April and May hits a window that the summer crowds have not yet closed. Temperatures at the Acropolis hover around 22-25°C, warm enough for short sleeves but cool enough that the climb up the rock to the Parthenon does not feel punishing.
