How do I get to Lidingo?

Stockholm Arlanda (ARN) is the only airport that matters for reaching Lidingö. It sits 40 km to the northwest and handles nonstop flights from over 150 destinations. SAS and United run daily nonstops from New York JFK and Newark, about 8.5 hours eastbound, at $700-1,200 round-trip depending on season. From London, SAS and Norwegian cover the 2.5-hour route for £100-250, and Ryanair serves Skavsta (NYO) 110 km south for £30-80 if you don't mind the 80-minute coach ride into town. Low season runs November through March, excluding Christmas week when fares climb 40-60%.
