Prices range from a shared plate under a fig tree in Bitez to a tasting menu in a converted bay-side villa. What ties the list together is not price or postcode: it is that each address has a reason to exist beyond the summer trade. Read the openings and closings closely, several kitchens work late by design, and the peninsula's geography rewards a car or a scooter more than a taxi.
